This was the first time Stanton Moore held a clinic at The Drum Studio. January 03, 2010. Sorry for poor sound quality. Audio and video was taken with my phone camera. Matt Frost recorded this master class with his portable Pro-Tools Rig. Stanton was also very informative on mic placement for recording live drums. Someday the audio may be released

Hey today is the big day!! I’m playing with Ben Hammond and friends on the main stage opening for The Lee Boys!! We go on at 1pm-1:45.
Here is the schedule for the Youth Stage. There are some new bands and some returning bands and for some, this may be the last year they play Giving Hunger before heading off to college.

Giving Hunger The Blues

Since 2005, The Drum Studio has sponsored and facilitated the Youth Stage at Giving Hunger the Blues Giving Hunger the Blues. This year’s event will take the amount total raised by this community to over the $1 million mark! What an accomplishment.

When: Sunday, March 25th, 2012 from 12 noon to 8pm

Where: 1930 Hillview St
Sarasota, FL 34239

How much- $5 admission, children under 12 are free
